Research Assistant/Lab Scientist

Job Description

​

One lab scientist position is available in the Zhu lab. The successful candidate will become a key scientific member of a multi-disciplinary team to address mechanistic questions in cardiac autoimmunity and cardio-oncology. 

 

Our team is looking to add a motivated and organized research assistant or lab scientist to perform experiments and aide in experimental design.

Required Qualifications:

The successful applicant must have at minimum a BS, BA, or MS in a biology or chemistry-related field and at least 1-2 years of research lab experience. Prior experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or animal/cell models are helpful. The details of the position are flexible and may be tailored to the experience and background of the applicant. 

 

Preference will also be given to candidates with experience in any of the following: immunology, cancer biology, animal models, iPSC models.

 

Successful applicants will have evidence of prior productivity in the laboratory research setting.
